SIFU/GURO LEE PEACOCK
Sifu Peacock has been training in the Martial Arts for over thirty nine years. He has been teaching Martial Arts for over thirty years. He has also been employed as a full time Police Officer for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for the past twenty one years and is the Lead Defensive Tactics Instructor at the Jacksonville Police Academy. As a Master Police Officer Sifu Peacock has served in Patrol, Zone Four Task Force and as a Homicide Detective before being assigned full time at the Police Academy. Below is a list of Sifu Peacock’s accomplishments, martial arts and police certifications.
MARTIAL ARTS BACKGROUND
• Studied Li Ka Kung-Fu (Lee Family System) under Sifu Buddy Springs and Sifu Troy Phillips for Five years.
• Trained under Mr. Keith Hamilton at Gastonia NC, YMCA. Received 1st Degree Brown Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do.
• Trained under Sifu George Phipps at the Red Dragon School in Sanford NC. Received 3rd Degree Black Sash in Hong Chun Fa, Chun Li, and Choy Lay Fut Kung-fu. Also received training in Iaido and Kenjitsu.
• Trained under following Instructors at camps and privately: Al Dacascus (Won Hop Kuen Do Kung-fu), GrandMaster Daniel K. Pai (Pai Lung Chuan Kung-Fu), Sifu Jim Cravens (Pai Lung Chuan Kung-Fu).
• Trained with Del Pollard (Student of Sifu Larry Hartsell) in Charlotte, NC
Fought in 12 Professional Karate Association full contact kickboxing matches in Charlotte NC with record of 6 – 6.
• Trained with Greg McNeil in Hombu Aikido and attended seminars in Aikido, Kenjitsu and Ninjitsu.
• Trained under Tuhon Baltazar Sayoc in Sayoc Kali, received Lakan Guro certification in Sayoc Kali in 1994 and received training in Pekiti Tersia Kali.
• Trained under Sifu Leonard Robinson in Wing Chun (Moy Yat and William Cheung methods).
• Trained under Sifu/Guro Terry and Cathy Gibson in Jun Fan Gung-Fu / Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. Received Instructor Level 1 in 1996.
• Fought in No-Holds-Barred events in Jacksonville, Florida with a record of 4 wins – 1 loss, also competed in kickboxing and No-Holds-Barred (Mixed Martial Arts) exhibition matches.
• Trained under Sifu / Guro Dan Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung-Fu / Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. Received Senior Associate Instructor Level 5 in both Jun Fan Gung-Fu / Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts. Certified as a Guro in Maphilindo Silat under Guro Inosanto.
• Trained under Sensei Erik Paulson in Combat Submission wrestling. Received Associate Instructor certification in CSW.
• Trained under Scott Devine and Nader Snober in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Received Purple Belt from Mr. Devine and Mr. Snober.

Sifu / Guro Peacock has been involved in Police training for eighteen years and has developed courses that he has taught across the United States at Law Enforcement Academies. Some of these courses are Law Enforcement Ground fighting I, II and III, Edged Weapon Defense for LEO, Close Quarter Combat for LEO, Officer Survival, Use of Force for LEO and Building Search Tactics for LEO.
Sifu / Guro Peacock has testified in Federal Court as well as State Court as an Expert on Law Enforcement Officer’s Use of Force. He is also a subject matter expert on Defensive Tactics and Use of Force for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He has taught groups and individuals from the following Law Enforcement Agencies; FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, DEA – Drug Enforcement Agency, ATF – Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Army Special Forces, Army Rangers, Air Force Security Police, Florida State Correctional Facility and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
SIFU/GURO MICHAEL VINCENT
Born in 1967 in Tell City, Indiana, Sifu/Guro Michael Vincent started his martial arts training in American Free-Style karate at age 15 in Owensboro, Kentucky. He participated in several kickboxing and point martial arts competitions and remained undefeated with opponents within his ranking. Sifu Vincent has had love and respect for the martial arts for nearly 25 years.
Graduating high school in 1985, Sifu Vincent joined the US Army Rangers and was assigned to the 3rd Bn. 75th Ranger Regiment in Ft. Benning, Ga. He attained the rank of SGT/E-5 and graduated several Special Operations military schools including but not limited to: Advanced Individual Training, Airborne, RIP, Ranger School, Sniper School, Non-Commission Officers Leadership Course, Advanced Demolitions, Jumpmaster, Urban Mount training and Amphibious Reconnaissance. Sifu Vincent received several awards and accommodations while serving in the rangers including but not limited to: Army Commendation Medal with 2nd oak leaf cluster, Army Achievement Medal with 3rd oak leaf cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Army Expeditionary Medal w/arrowhead, Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Campaign Medal, Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB) and Combat Scroll.
In 1989, Sifu Vincent was called to combat operations and served in “Operation Just Cause”, the invasion of Panama. He served as squad leader and led his fire squad on several successful combat operations with no injuries or fatalities. In 1991, Mr. Vincent was called back to combat operations for “Operation Desert Storm”. Sifu Vincent left the Army after serving five years active duty and concluded his eight year commitment with three additional years on inactive ready reserve.
Sifu Vincent obtained his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialty in law enforcement in 1993 while living in Cleveland, OH. In March of 1994, he moved to Jacksonville, FL. to be near his family and to continue his education, and began training and studying martial arts full-time. In 1995, Sifu Vincent began attending the University of North Florida part-time working on a BA degree in Criminal Justice.
In 1996, Sifu Vincent received his black belt in American Free-Style Karate under Sensei James Cassidy and began training full-time under Sifu/Guro Lee Peacock in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts( Kali, Eskrima, and Arnis). In 1998, he began teaching classes full-time in Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu/Guro Lee Peacock. In 1999, Mr. Vincent obtained his Level 10 black sash in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and Level 10 black sarong in the Filipino Martial Arts. That same year Sifu Vincent began studying Private Investigations, Protective Security and Body guarding full-time.
In March of 2000, Sifu Vincent attended an international bodyguard and counter-surveillance school with the Professional Bodyguard Association (PBA) in Great Britain-England. He graduated at the top of his class and got his bodyguard certification. In October 2000, Mr. Vincent achieved his apprentice instructor certification under Guro/Sifu Dan Inosanto in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts. Sifu Vincent completes at least 20 hours of seminar training and 20 hours of instructor training under Guro Inosanto a year to maintain his certification.
In 2001, Sifu Vincent started his own Private Investigation and Bodyguard Company in Jacksonville, FL., Alert-1 Protection and Investigation Service, Inc. He presently owns the business with his brother and is Vice President and Assistant Chief of Security and Operations. Sifu Vincent is fully licensed and insured as a Florida State Private Investigator and Protective Security Specialist.
In 2003, Sifu Vincent moved to Los Angeles to work as a Bodyguard for Gavin de Becker and Associates. He performed close protection for many celebrities and their families in LA. Also, Mr. Vincent began training under Guro/Sifu Dan Inosanto at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. Sifu Vincent attended several martial arts and instructor seminars while training there under Guro Inosanto.
In October 2004, Sifu Vincent attended and graduated a 21-day high-risk protective security operator’s course. He started working for DynCorp International and the US State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service performing high-risk bodyguard and close protection duties for diplomats and dignitaries in Baghdad, Iraq. Mr. Vincent returned to Jacksonville, FL. after completing a one-year contract. Sifu Vincent again began training and teaching full-time under Sifu/Guro Peacock.
In October 2006, Sifu Vincent was promoted to Associate level instructorship under Guro Inosanto. Warrior Arts instructors must complete a minimum of 20 hours of seminar instruction under Guro/Sifu Inosanto, and complete one 20 hour instructor camp at the Inosanto Academy a year.
In March 2008, Sifu Vincent was promoted to Level 13, 4th level black sash/sarong, in both Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial arts. In May 2008, Warrior Arts Academy opened its doors to the public providing the best in instruction for Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, the Filipino Martial Arts, Muay-Thai and Grappling. He instructs classes in Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts; also he teaches the Lil’ Warriors self-defense and women’s protective security programs. Sifu Vincent is also trained in Muay-Thai Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
